Going Green

Today we have the knowledge and technology to re-invent our cities to be both economically and environmentally sustainable. "Going Green" is designed to be an influential multimedia presentation to enlighten local, state and national land planners, policymakers, corporations, organizations, educators, and most important, the general public.

If you are familiar with the issues you may use it in the "presentation mode" as a basis to present the benefits of urban forestry, look at the environmental challenges we are facing, look at current models for solutions, and show the examples of organizations and cities that are incorporating green infrastructure into city planning. You can address the issues in each section to your desired level and depth of detail. This may also be used in in an educational setting with "auto mode" where a voice over narration addresses the issues. Be sure to visit the glossary, links to urban forestry web sites and more.
