Geometry and orientation aspects in passive cooling of canyon streets with trees

Reference Type
Journal, Research (Article)

This paper suggests that the role that tree canopy plays in reducing thermal effects and solar radiation had not been addressed when considering architectural design for the canyon street project.  Tree shading and green spaces can help with the aspects of both thermal effects and solar radiation penetration.
