"The green poster": a method to evaluate the sustainability of the urban green structure

The green poster (developed in Norway) is a method of analysis to be used as a support in land use planning. In this connection, a landscape-ecological approach has been used to look at the different values and functions of the urban green areas...Thus, the green structure consists of all green areas of a city, private as well as public, gardens as much as areas of meadowland, woodland as much as parks or church yards, and even rivers, wetlands, ponds, etc.
