It's my forest: creating common ownership and care of the urban forest

England's Community Forests are Government supported initiatives that are creating well-wooded landscapes close to twelve large centres of population. Over half the population of England lives close to a Community Forest and collectively they cover an area the size of Luxembourg - a significant land use objective in a densely populated country.
