Spatial distribution of nutrients in throughfall beneath the crowns of three urban tree species

Reference Type
Journal, Research (Article)

This study was performed to assess the variability in throughfall chemistry from urban trees. The major objectives were to determine if throughfall nutrient chemistry varied with distance from tree boles, if throughfall chemistry differed significantly for three urban tree species, and the number of samples needed to accurately estimate throughfall chemistry under individual trees.
