Assessing the value of urban forests in the United States

Reference Type
Conference Proceedings (Chapter)

Urban forests have value to society based upon the structure of the physical resource (e.g., compensation required due to the loss of trees) and tree functions (e.g., air pollution removal by trees). Structural and functional values were estimated for urban forests in the contiguous United States. [UMN]
