Reference Type
Journal, Research (Article)

This paper discusses a number of questions about the energy conservation potential of urban forests: 1) What is their potential to improve environmental quality and conserve energy? 2) Are trees cost-effective compared to other energy conservation measures? and 3) How does the structure of energy efficient landscapes change within a city and across climatic regions?
