Foliation period of various deciduous tree species commonly found in Minnesota's urban landscape

This study observed leaf development, leaf abscission and duration of leaves during the growing season for several tree species most commonly planted in the urban landscape in Minnesota. Date of spring foliation and fall defoliation are important for energy conservation purposes.
