California urban & community forests summit, July 1998-August 1999: "A blueprint for the future." Summary of results and recommendations

From July 1998 through June 1999, the California Urban Forests Council conducted a series of eleven regional caucuses throughout California culminating in a 2 day Summit on August 19th and 20th, 1999.... The participants discussed issues and created goals and strategies for urban forestry both regionally and statewide. At the Summit, participants adopted a mission statement with five top priority statewide goals that included strategies, implementation procedures and action items.
