Journal, Research (Article)
This paper presents the results of hedonic pricing and contingent valuation studies conducted in Joensuu, Finland. The purpose of the investigations was: 1) to study whether the urban forest benefits are capitalized in property prices, and 2) to measure the use values of wooded recreational areas and the residents' willingness to pay for small forest parks in housing districts.
