Urban forest cover of the Chicago region and its relation to household density and income

The objective of this study was to inventory land cover, particularly urban vegetation, for the greater Chicago metropolitan region, and to correlate the derived land cover estimate to population density, household income, number of households, and change in household numbers over time.
