Preventing Stem Girdling Roots (VHS Video)

This video explains the simple techniques used to prevent stem girdling roots. These techniques occur during the transplanting of the tree. The primary preventative measure is to remove excess dirt from the top of the root ball or basket, which prevents roots from improperly forming and eventually leading to stem girdling roots.
