An Introductory Guide to Urban and Community Forestry Programs

This guide is intended to help municipalities develop and administer community forestry programs. It provides enough information to enable interested citizens and municipal officials to get started on developing a program and enlisting support. Developing and implementing a community forestry program is within the means of any community, large or small. The benfits include increased returns on the community's investment, creation of more natural environment in which to live and work, and an improvement in our quality of life.
