Replacement of Trees Under Utility Wires Impacts Attitudes and Community Tree Programs

Opinions of people in 54 Pennsylvania municipalities who recieved trees though the Municipal Tree restoration Program (MTRP) were surveyed, and progress in their tree programs evaluated. This article summarizes responses from residents regarding placement under utility wires, tree size, tree characteristics and removal of mature trees.
