Reference Type
Report (Research or Project)

The City of Elk Grove, CA conducted a sample street tree inventory using the i-Tree software application, STRATUM, to help them determine the existing street tree canopy, devise a 40-year canopy goal, and develop a plan through which to reach this goal.  This document outlines the methods used to collect the data, reports the results including urban forest structure and environmental benefits of the city's street trees, and explains its plan to realize its goals.
