Dr. Michael Andreu (Dr. A) is a forestry professor at the University of Florida. He teaches students about how to identify trees and plants and about forest ecology. He also studies how forests in urban areas can provide services such as clean air, clean water, wildlife habitat and beautiful places to relax. He leads the tree identification study and is instrumental in the Kids in the Woods project development and implementation. Dr. A is one of the cofounders of the Kids in the Woods Program.
