Annie Hermansen-Baez
Annie Hermansen-Baez is a science delivery coordinator for the USFS Southern Research Station. She develops and delivers information related to wildland-urban interface, urban forestry, children and nature, and more. Annie also works with schools to encourage kids to spend more time outdoors and gain an appreciation of nature. She likes being a scientist because she gets to meet interesting people and enjoys teaching people about the benefits of nature. She is one of the cofounders of the Kids in the Woods Program.
