Abstract:	This report summarizes the collective accomplishments of the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources (DNR) and the Minnesota Shade Tree Advisory Committee (MnSTAC) from summer 1991 through winter 1994 in identifying and developing increased uses for urban tree residue. The work consisted of nine basic parts which can be grouped into four general areas: 1) coordination, 2) data collection, 3) communication, and 4) market development. The report conclusion summarizes the project accomplishments, lists additional actions needed in the areas of policy, research, and education, and identifies the ongoing activities of the project participants.
