Abstract: An extensive historic and ecological understanding of a site is required in order to successfully manage historic parks. Restoration and rehabilitation are two primary methods used to do so – each has specific objectives and constraints. This paper describes the master planning and management process incorporating ecological issues, such as exotic vs. native species management.
