Abstract: This Unit's research will help determine: how people's perceptions of environmental quality are affected by changes in the physical, biological, social, and managerial attributes of urban and high-use settings; how people's recreation choices are influenced by the attributes of urban and high-use recreation settings; and how to better integrate models of human perception and behavior in urban and high-use recreation settings with our understanding of biological and ecological systems.
