Managed forests for healthy ecosystems

Abstract: In this publication, we will more completely describe the concept of ecosystem management, and provide examples of how it may apply to your woodland. The older multiple-use and sustained-yield principles will not be forgotten; they will simply become part of a larger goal of maintaining healthy ecosystems. Responsible forestry and agricultural practices that are consistent with this goal will not be affected.
