Author: Arrowood, Janet C.

Abstract: This book is about the truly catastrophic uncontrolled variety of wildland fires that burn through wildland/urban interface areas threatening life, property, or natural resources. These fires are commonly referred to as ”wildfires.” More importantly, this book is about the people who live in the wildland/urban interface and what they can do to reduce the threat of wildfires to their homes and families, what they should do if the wildfire danger is imminent, and what they might do to pick up the pieces if they suffer a loss due to wildfire.
