Abstract: Visible and invisible, utilitarian and familial, homogeneous and diverse, minority and majority are adjectives which characterise the Latino population of the interior Columbia River Basin and their use of federal public lands. To understand these adjectives, this report will briefly describe the demographic patterns and historical development of this population before analyzing census and field gathered data.
