Information technologies: Overcoming challenges, capturing opportunities

Author: Nodine, Stephen K.

Abstract: Emerging computer and information technologies have great potential to dramatically improve not only our efficiency but also the quality and type of work that we can do. Preconceptions that these technologies are only for big companies or take too much time to learn to use can be an obstacle to their adoption, but in fact, small companies may see the most gain in efficiency and the fastest return on their investment. Improving one’s competitive advantage today means staying on top of these new opportunities.
