Abstract: The overall purpose of this workshop was to gain a better understanding of homeowners, developers, fire service officials, and elected officials. Also, how understanding ourselves in our various professional roles is equally important to understanding how homeowners and developers can come to grips with wildland residential problems. Workshop participants were divided into four groups, and each addressed a different theme by identifying problems or obstacles and solutions.
