The purpose of this site, developed in partnership with American Forests and the National Association of Regional Councils, is to provide a one stop shop for curated content around the “why” and “how” of urban forestry.
The “why/making the case” section is aimed at allied professionals. Why should those interested in public health, public safety, transportation, etc. care about urban forestry? The “how/make it happen” section take’s the Sustainable Urban Forest Guide and turns it into a step by step online tool to help communities build out sustainable urban forestry programs that fit their needs.
