Value of Trees: A Community Tree Planting and Public Outreach Initiative

This first volume publication is a community outreach initiative to inform the public about the environmental and economic value of trees in the landscape.

This 24 page newspaper-style publication was supported by the Minnesota Landscape Arboretum (a section of the University of Minnesota Extension Service). Articles within the paper include: How to Plant a Tree, 50 Terrific Trees for Minnesota, Common Insects and Diseases, and Why Trees Die. The paper contains contact information if the reader would like to speak with a master gardener for more information.
