Urban Forest Storm Strike Team (Webcast)
This webcast featured four speakers who outlined a post-disaster response tool for assessing the urban forest.
The speakers in this webinar describe how state and federal agencies have designed a system to assist communities hit by storms. Expert teams of urban foresters and certified arborists travel to the impacted area and collect important information about tree risk and damage. The results help the community prioritize work and indicate which tree work is eligible for reimbursement from the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA).
Length: 65 minutes.
