Urban and Community Forestry Appreciation Tool Kit

A toolkit of public relations materials for communities.

The tool kit was developed to promote urban and community forestry as a crucial component of livability in communities and targets decision makers as champions for message delivery. The "Bring Life to Your Community Plant Trees" logo, developed with funding from NUCFAC, is used throughout the kit. The kit contains a mini flier on the top 10 reasons we need trees, sample letter to the editor, sample action alert, fact sheet, scientific references on benefits trees provide and six articles that can be used for newsletters, press releases, and community news media. All can be printed from a CD include in the toolkit.
