Unwrap Trunks for Healthier Trees
This press release describes how wrapping tree trunks can cause serious injury.
The space between the bark and the paper wrap can become wet and host many unwanted infections. It also causes discolorations in tree species that photosynthesize in the bark. If paper wrap is added during the winters, it should be removed immediately in spring. 1 page press release
