Tree of Heaven - Ailanthus altissima Quassia Family (Simaroubaceae)
This information sheet describes the methods necessary to remove this invasive plant in Connecticut.
Because of its prolific seeding and allelopathic abilities, the tree of heaven is difficult to control. There are some chemical control choices, but choosing the wrong season for application will create poor results.
