Preventing Construction Damage to Municipal Trees
A manual to help point the way toward a more peacefull coexistence of the urban forest and the rest of the urban infrastructure.
It describes the damage to urban trees which can result from construction work and offers the basics of an inspection program to control that damage. The manual is written primarily for use by municipal arborists. It may also prove useful to other urban forestry professionals, public works personnel, public utilities, construction contractors, and others concerned about tree damage in construction sites.
