New Products Showcase – Tree Owner’s Manual (webcast)
This webcast features the newly released U.S. Forest Service publication, "Tree Owner’s Manual."
The “Tree Owner’s Manual”, which has recently been developed by the U.S. Forest Service, Northeastern Area is the topic of this web archive session. With hopes of increasing the number of healthy, long-lived landscape trees, the Forest Service has created a Tree Owner’s Manual. Just like the manual that comes with automobiles and appliances, this booklet includes a parts diagram, instructions for installation, tips for troubleshooting, and more. And, like other manuals, hopefully it will be kept in a familiar spot and used as a reference over the course of the tree’s life. Organizations are encouraged to copy and distribute the booklet to tree owners everywhere.
As a small, black-and-white booklet, the Tree Owner’s Manual is inexpensive to reproduce so that it can be made widely available to garden centers, nurseries, landscapers, and arborists to hand out to customers. This is a webinar resource. Length: 46 minutes.
