Autumn Olive - Eleagnus umbellata Oleaster Family (Eleagnaceae)
This information sheet describes the methods necessary to remove this invasive plant in Connecticut.
Although there are chemical methods to control this plant, prolific root sprouting make the autumn olive difficult irradicate. There are no known biological control methods.
