There are a number of pests which damage ornamental pear trees. Because ornamental pears are grown for their aesthetic impacts -- foliage, twig, and flower pests are most noticeable. Below is a general review of ornamental pear pests in order of importance. Note there are only a few pests of great importance to most ornamental pear cultivars.
