EcoShape ArcMap Toolbox

This ArcMap Toolbox application converts properly formatted data from an ESRI shapefile into an i-Tree Eco project database. This tool is designed to be used with ArcMap 9.3.1 or newer. Read details before using this tool.

To use this EcoShape tool, data must be properly formatted within the shapefile.  The best way to do this is to ensure your GPS unit's data dictionary, feature file, ArcPad form, or other survey tool used to collect tree attributes is properly formatted before collecting data.  A properly formatted data dictionary for Trimble units running TerraSync, feature file for units running SoloForest, and form for GPS units using ArcPad can be found at Urban Forestry South.

Read the user's manual for more information on how to load the tool in ArcMap and how to use it.
