Seth Hawkins
Regional Community Forester/Partnership Coordinator
Georgia Forestry Commission
Born and raised in Georgia, Seth Hawkins received his B.S. in Forest Resources from the University of Georgia’s Warnell School of Forestry and Natural Resources in 2014. He began working with the Georgia Forestry Commission as an urban and community forester in early 2015, and recently took over some partnership coordinator responsibilities for Georgia. He is an ISA certified arborist, is ISA TRAQ trained, and a team leader on the Urban Forest Strike Team. In his free time, Seth enjoys gardening, watching sports (when they come back), and of course talking about trees!
Sarah Huffman
Chief Ranger, Frankfort Branch
Kentucky Division of Forestry
Originally from northern Ohio, Sara started her career as a forest ranger with the Kentucky Division of Forestry over 21 years ago. Sara has worked with the Master Gardeners program and parks departments, served on tree boards and advisory committees, led and trained citizen foresters and other volunteer groups, assisted municipalities with Tree City USA programs, and planned Arbor Days and community reforestation events. Sara holds a forestry degree from Hocking College and is a certified arborist. Sara lives in Louisville, Kentucky with her husband.
