What are sub-topics?

Urban Forestry South offers two methods of locating information; browsing and searching. Sub-topics are selected when information is published onto the website and are used for the browsing feature. Sub-topics are detailed descriptors that can be assigned to the web content. Sub-topics are fairly detailed and are grouped into more general Topics. The 'Quick Click' feature implements browsing from the home page. By selecting a topic in the 'Quick Click' dropdown, the page will be redisplayed with a dropdown menu that includes all of the sub-topics for that topic. Sub-topics listed by topic can be viewed, saved or printed by 'clicking' on the link below the 'Quick Click' dropdown menu.
