Urban Forest Strike Teams - Tree Assessments to Support Communities, Urban Tree Canopy, FEMA Public Assistance, and Debris Management

Presentation at the 2018 ISA Annual International Conference and Trade Show in Columbus, Ohio August 5-8, 2018.

An introduction to the Urban Forest Strike Team initiative that began in late 2007 in North Carolina and Virginia with the support of the Southern Group of State Foresters.  This presentation has been adapted (and copied) from John Parry’s presentation at the Arbor Day Foundation's Partners in Community Forestry Conference in Tulsa, Oklahoma in 2017, and Dudley Hartel’s presentation to the Wisconsin Arborists Association in 2018.
