Trees for use under overhead utility lines

This is the list of (48) species suitable for planting under and near utility lines for Virginia taken from the Trees vs Utility Lines CD. These same trees are in a Powerpoint presentation with photographs of form, foliage, bark and flowers.

This list is provided with the other CD contents for local communities to modify and republish. The Virginia native tree section may need to be modified for your state/community. Both native and non-native lists may need to be modified for species suitability to local soil conditions and climate zone.
