An Assessment of street tree condition, maintenance, and neighborhood income levels in Seattle, WashingtonMasters Thesis investigation of equity in the urban forestry program. Trees were sampled in six neighborhoods (two income levels), and maintenance records were analyzed for those areas. This project also included local community (high school) members in a participatory research model.Tree condition did not vary significantly by either neighborhood or income level. Lower income areas received more City maintenance. [UFS]
