Environmental Design with Trees Workshop

This workshop is geared toward landscape architects, city planners and engineers involved with developing green spaces in the urban environment.

Attendees will learn about what to consider at the site when selecting tree species, features of native trees, how to protect existing trees during construction and learn the correct planting procedures that can determine the trees’ long-term health and increase the tree’s ability to become established sooner. Professionals will receive four hours of continuing education credits. The public is invited to attend. Deadline to register is August 13. Register online below or print the brochure and mail to AUFC with a check. Our partners are McClelland Consulting Engineers, Inc., U of A Division of Agriculture Research & Extension, Arkansas Forestry Commission and USDA Forest Service.
